This course will look at how ADHD affects children, teens and adults, and will provide tips for helping manage symptoms at each stage. You will learn about the treatment options, including medication as well as various types of therapy that are proven to help people with ADHD manage their symptoms.

In the last decade, the number of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder has increased drastically and so has the need for caregivers who are trained in this specialized area. In this training course, learners will be introduced to ASD, a neurological development disorder that can affect all racial, ethnic and socioeconomic groups. We will discuss the various interventions and supports that address the needs of, and improve the quality of life, of the individuals you support.

People self-harm as a means of relieving emotional pain or so they can feel something in the presence of nothing. In this course, you will learn how to identify self-harm and how to help someone who engages in self-injurious behavior.
