As people progress through Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, their behaviors are likely to change, as will your role as caregiver. These behavior changes can be stressful and frustrating for caregivers, friends and family members but there are a number of resources that will help you manage these behaviors. In this training course, we’ll provide basic information about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and discuss some of the behaviors that may present as a result of the disease. We will also look at some examples of aggressive behaviors, provide tips for caregivers and discuss the best ways to de-escalate these situations.
