Course Description
In this course, you will learn how to properly manage the medication needs of the children in your care. We will discuss different types of disorders and the medications that go with each, as well as the possible side effects of the different medications. By the end of this training, you will be able to:
-The role of youth, guardians and child care workers in medication management
-Major disorders and the medications prescribed for each
-The side effects of various medications
-How to manage asthma and severe allergic reactions
