Course Description
According to the Department of Justice, one in nine Americans over the age of 60 has experienced some form of elder abuse, making this type of abuse a significant problem in the United States. By documenting and reporting all important events and changes, caregivers can play an active role in preventing, detecting and stopping elder abuse. This course covers major incidents, adverse incidents and significant changes, as well as the best way to document all three.
