Program Overview

This comprehensive online training package fulfills the District of Columbia Department on Disability Services (DDS) Phase 1 requirements for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As of March 2019, these essential foundation courses can be completed entirely online without a live trainer present, making compliance more accessible for agencies and staff.

DC DDS Required Modules

This Phase 1 package includes the following nine DDS-mandated training modules:

• Blueprint for Service Delivery - Core principles and frameworks for disability support services

This course covers major incidents, adverse incidents and significant changes, as well as the best way to document all three.
